Do you want foods with lots of calories to gain weight. We are going to be doing a meal prep and there’s going to be a little bit of a different theme because the last one did so well. you guys asked me to do more meal preps and I’m stoked to do because I think they’re really fun challenge. this ones theme is going to be high protein muscle building meals and just as a side like just bonus all of the food that I bought. I wasn’t trying to make it cheap or anything like that but all of it together was under $30. so that’s pretty sweet for it being high-protein. let’s jump into this three different meals all very simple. I’ll make it simple to stick around and let’s jump into this.
So what you’re going to need for meal number one is some beans of your choice. I’m using pinto beans here I’ve been kind of changing around the beans that I use and I don’t know. they all taste really great to me some of them have different textures have try out some different beans. I’ve got some corn here then I have some salsa that now my favorite salsa at the store. so I got this interesting new one. It’s habanero Lucky’s salsa. This is good I’ve got two limes here. If you don’t really like limes or just any lemon or lime juice in your stuff. you don’t need to have it to avocados and in this pot I have two cups of dry quinoa that has been now cooked and is ready for eating.
I like simple recipes so we’re just going to add everything into the pot together. So there’s two cups of pinto beans about a cup of corn going in there as well then I’m going to take my salsa here and I’m going to use as much as you guys want to use. I mean if you want it less salsa II that’s totally fine. you can get less salt and stuff from your salsa or if you want to use as much as you want to spice it up make it taste how you want use as much you want okay. so while that cooks I want to show you guys a cool avocado trick. You guys just waiting for the food are you waiting yeah look at this is Daisy and this is a little lamb so I’m going to show you how to cut avocados into slices. It like that using the seat to guide your knife flip it open stab this bitch boom slide twist alright. So this is not the most perfect avocado but you’ll still get the idea. you’re just going to take your knife and just cut lines all the way down to the skin of the avocado and then after we cut these pre-made slices. We just take a spoon and just like a Kiwi. We’re going to slide this spoon as close to the flesh. the skin of the avocado as we can and we get the whole avocado out and you get these perfect little slices which are really easy to distribute boom avocado. hack now you know okay. So now I’m just going to evenly distribute this into my five different Tupperware here. Alright and just like that there is meal number one plated into five different little carrying cases.
Here we got the half limes that you can take it and squeeze it right before you eat the meal. It’s like kind of fresher and then we have the avocado that we sliced up there and a little bit extra there and so this is kind of just like a nice Mexican salsa Chipotle dish. It’s kind of just a different flavor pop and it tastes really good. yeah first one looks good right wow. those are really good they look good right the first meal looks really nice. I’m really excited about its really tasty. So now saying we just got home from work so she’s been able to film me a little bit more system a little bit easier.
